I’m feeling much better recently after the last little while in a meh. Happily counting down the days (4) to my two weeks vacation and likely an extra positive result from having spent the weekend in Ottawa with family and friends, away from the noise that my Montreal life emits.

Saturday was highlighted not only by my mother’s birthday and Rache’s goodbye party (we’ll miss you babe!!), but also with a stroll through Gatineau Park in search of a few hours of nothing in the midst of it all. We ended up finding peaceful scenes and a great occasion for me to try my luck with the colorful views that beheld us. While I’m looking for an excuse to head back there very soon, this can all be seen in the gallery.

Patricia: Seriously, awesome idea to swing by the park. Thanks for being there with your smile and keeping me company on the road!
