So I missed a few days of posts seeing as I went into “trading spaces” mode at my Old-Montreal condo. A bunch of friends helped me out starting Friday night on this makeover project that had a Sunday noon “gotta be done and out” deadline. Why? I got an excellent offer to rent the place out to a movie production crew for a movie staring Kate Blanchet and Richard Gere… I know they are in the building, but in my unit?

Moving along in the photo-a-day essay, we continue onto day 9 with me still in Amsterdam aimlessly walking around for kicks and thrills. This city topped my list of places in Europe for the extremely friendly people and the active city life, but with one exception: the red light district. It was simply too eerie and disturbing, and this coming from the Montrealer who knows local streets named after saints and lined with strip clubs.
