Fall Colors in Gatineau Park

Being in Ottawa last weekend for my mother's birthday, my friend Patricia had this wonderful idea to hit the Gatineau park for some sightseeing on what turned out to be a beautiful day after the misty fog had lifted from the morning.

Armed with my camera and my trusted tripod carrier (thanks Pat!), the scenic, lengthy and relaxing walk around Lake Pink was a great opportunity for me to try shooting the fall views. The colors were extremely vivid in general, if it weren't for the hazy sky which could have been more dramatic. Nonetheless, a great field trip in good company.
