The reason Zed’s first show was awesome for me is in this picture.

As I framed the shot of drummer Alex’s girlfriend, I was too focused on my work to notice the good looking women in the background who just happened to be smiling at the camera. Smiling surprisingly as much, or even more, than the photo’s main subject.

I’m quite clueless when it comes to women, I’ll admit. During the evening, Maryse (second from left and whom I had never met) gave me a phone number of a friend who had apparently noticed me. At the time of the number exchange, I had no idea who this mystery friend was.
